LEAVING A BEQUEST
If you would like to make a bequest to the Cancer Society, there are a number of different options:
- A residual gift - after providing for your family, you can nominate that you want to leave part or all of what is left of your estate (the residue) to the Cancer Society.
- A percentage - you can leave a nominated percentage or fraction of your estate to the Cancer Society.
- A specific gift - you can also choose to leave a set amount of money, real
estate, jewellery, shares, bonds or any other gift you may wish to nominate.
You can also indicate where you would like the bequest spent, e.g. cancer research, support and information services for patients and families, or for general purposes.
Please talk to your solicitor today about including the Cancer Society in your Will, and make a difference for future generations.
